Bob Letvern founder member of the pie club died on Thursday 9 Dec. Bob suffered a stroke 6 years ago. Although it left him with difficulties in walking Bob never complained and was grateful to be alive and able to support Manchester City Football Club and he attended ever  game he could.

Bob was headmaster of Norland Primary School for over 27 years. When he started the school was about to close with falling numbers of pupils. When he left the school was oversubscribed. The school under Bob’s direction won many commendations and awards.

Manchester City won 3 -1 and went joint top of the league. A fitting epitaph to Bob.
